Frequently Asked Questions

What is the face treatment covered in this course?
The main purpose of the face treatment is to provide comfort and relaxation to your client while the body wrap agent is working. This is not a facial. Massage therapists cannot legally perform facials esthetician training is required for that. The face treatment in this course consists of a simple cleansing, mask, and moisturizer application. No extractions or chemical treatments are included. It is possible that even this may conflict with massage regulations in your state. If so, you will substitute a face massage to fill the time. It is always recommended that before beginning any new specialty, you verify the laws in your state this is especially important for a course of this nature, where products are applied to clients' bodies that some states may restrict to licensed estheticians only.

Do you report course completions to the NCBTMB, ABMP, AMTA, or other agencies?
None of these agencies have a method for us to report to them on your behalf. They prefer that you provide evidence of your CEs as detailed in their individual renewal processes.
