Frequently Asked Questions

Will this course work on my phone, tablet, or other device?
Yes. Since technology continues its rapid pace forward, it is impossible for us to provide a current and complete list of every device on which our courses will work. We invite you to take our free sample course so that you can personally test how the online content and any streaming video work on your specific device before enrolling.

Can I review the course materials after I have completed the test?
Yes. Even after completing the test, you will have the option to access the online course materials, print another CE certificate, or review your test results. We guarantee this access for at least one year and have always exceeded that time period. However, technology updates can sometimes make older data inaccessible, so we do not promise access beyond one year. For this reason, we recommend saving copies of your certificate and any downloadable PDF files you may wish to access indefinitely.

What happens if I fail the test? Do I have to pay again?
No. If you do not pass, you may continue to retest at no additional charge until you do. With most courses, the test will be different each time you take it. You can print your test results to use as a study reference before retesting.

What is the difference between cognitive and kinesthetic courses?
Cognitive courses teach concepts related to massage therapy but do not teach specific hands-on techniques. Ethics, pathology, anatomy, and research courses are classified as cognitive. Kinesthetic courses teach specific hands-on techniques for use during massage sessions. Some states limit the number of kinesthetic course hours that can be completed online or by home study. Please refer to our State Guidelines page for specifics about your state.
